On occasions when the work process begins, problems may appear with previous finishes which could not be foreseen. This will be discussed with the customer. If significant changes have to be made, extra charges may apply

Prices quoted are for recovering. The replacement of springs and cushion inserts will be replaced as deemed necessary and extra charges may apply.
A deposit may be applied once the quote has been accepted.
All goods remain the property of H&Y until payment has been received in full
Wood restoration work takes approximately 4-8 weeks to repair/restore. Upholstery/leather restoration 5-10 weeks, recaning up to 3 months. Times may vary depending on workload and whether parts or specialist services are required
Goods must be paid for in full at time of delivery or beforehand. We accept payment by debit card or cash. Credit cards will carry a 2.5% surcharge. We are no longer able to accept cheques. Prices quoted are subject to VAT at the current rate
All work is given a 6-month guarantee
If furniture has to be stored due to the customer being unable to accept delivery, we will charge for this service and items stored are done so at the owners’ risk.
If we have been unable to make contact by phone or email or post we will dispose of any uncollected/undelivered items.
The householder or a representative of the householder (aged over 18) must be present on our arrival, unless agreed in previous communication. We reserve the right to charge an abortive call charge if the householder (or representative) is not available
We are unable to dispose of any waste materials, packaging etc
Our minimum charge is £95.00 (inclusive of VAT)
